Downieville, Colorado
At 11:30 am a tornado touched down 30 miles west of Denver on March 10th. The tornado rapidly intensified and struck the town of Downieville at EF-3 strength. The tornado caused 1 death and 12 injuries. It dissapated as it moved into the Rockies.
Watkins, Colorado
At 1pm MDT, a tornado touched down in a field southwest of Watkins. It intensified rapidly to EF-4 strength and demolished a church. It then crossed I-70 and moved into Watkins. It destroyed the Southeast side of Watkins and moved Northeast and weakened to EF-3 strength. It hit the Front Range Airport at EF-2 strength and dissapated
